One of the
most famous stories surround the Bermuda Triangle is the mysterious
disappearance of the military service Air Flight 19.
So what
happened?
Avenger
PlaneOn Dec fifth, 1945, five attacker torpedo bombers left the military
service Air Station at city. They never came back home.
The Avenger
bombers contained fourteen men, 13 of those were trainees within the last
stages of their coaching beside Lt. Charles Taylor. The five pilots had been
recently transferred from the Miami militray Air base Station. Lt. Taylor knew the Florida Keys well
however had no data of flying over the land which was the direction Flight
nineteen was headed in.
Their
mission on that day was for practice bombing at hens and Chicken Shoals 56
miles away. Once that was accomplished, the Avengers were to continue on
eastward for sixty-seven miles, then they are heading to north seventy-three
miles. Following that they would turn southwest and head for home. In the other
words they were flying on a triangular flight path through what would be known
as the Bermudas Triangle.
At 3:50pm
there is a pilot and his flight instructor
Lt. Robert Cox were concerning to land at city. They overheard a radio
transmission addressed to somebody named Powers. Powers replied, "I don't
recognize where we are. We must have got lost at the moment last turn."
Lt. Cox
managed to establish radio contact with another of the Pilots on the lost
Avengers out puzzled. Speaking with Lt. Taylor he was informed that Taylor's
compasses were not operating and he was positive that they were within the
"keys", meaning Florida keys, and that he didn't know how to induce
to city. Cox urged him to flying over north toward Miami "If you are
within the keys."
Taylor was
badly mistaken, he in fact wasn't within the keys as thought. He was in the
Bahamas and by taking Cox's recommendation and flying north he would only go
any dead set of the sea. Efforts by Cox and others to determine the situation
of Flight 19 were hampered by poor communications signals. At one point Taylor
was urged to flip over management of the flight to 1 of the scholars, though
apparently he did not do therefore.
As dusk
slowly approached Fort Lauderdale accomplished with nice horror that Lt. Taylor
and his Avengers had no idea of wherever they were, they were completely lost.
The atmospheric interference with radio signals got a lot worse at sunset and
communication was nearly not possible with Flight nineteen. Lt. Taylor said
that they would fly north-northeast for a brief time, then head north.
The
continued on with their course changing to veer slightly off to the east once
the contact created with Fort Lauderdale at five.15pm by Taylor. "We are
currently heading west and still don’t know where we are" exclaimed Taylor as he was addressing his companions and
telling them that they should be part of up; as presently jointly of them ran
out of fuel, they would all go down together.
The sun is
going down on Fort Lauderdale at 6:30pm. A bad weather was getting from the
north and the state of affairs was escalating into a full blown emergency. No
one know wherever Flight 19's location was and there was a lot of speculation
on where they may be. At 5.00pm reception improved for a short time. Taylor was
urged to switch to three,000 kilocycles, the emergency frequency are not
working. Taylor refused to do so for worry he and also the different planes
would fall our of communication; sadly, interference from Cuban commercial
stations and the inability of different coastal stations to translate the city
coaching signal simply would effectively shut off Flight nineteen from the
remainder of the globe.
At one point
the ComGulf ocean Frontier analysis Center thought it had pinpointed the
flight's approximate position; east of New city Beach, Florida, and far to the
north of the land.
The first
rescue craft was sent out at six.20pm. It was a Dumbo hydroplane and it soon
lost contact with the control tower, leading all to believe that they had also
lost the way. The problem turned out to be and froze antenna.
flight 19
disappearsWithin the hour more craft joined in the search. The weather was
overcast by the control tower officer and the seas were reported as rush and turbulent.
1 flight a Martin Mariner (Training 49) unsuccessful to build its regular
rendezvous and didn't answer radio calls and our frequencies . At 7.50pm the
crew of a nearby ship according of seeing a colossal sheet of fire caused by
the explosion of associate heavier-than-air craft. The ship reported of passing
through a giant pool of oil shortly when and not finding any survivors or
bodies of the crashed craft. They did not try and retrieve any debris from the
ocean as weather were at this time deteriorating quickly creating it not
possible for any quite retrieval.
Flight 19
still don’t know were they are by this time had exhausted their fuel and were
assumed to be down. Taylor's last transmission was heard at 7:04pm. The search
for the lost Avengers continued on through the rough night and many planes and
ships joined the search future day.
No trace of
the Mariner or Avengers have ever been found.
On April 3,
1946 the conclusion of an in depth military service Investigation declared that
the "flight leader's false assurance of identifying because the key,
islands he sighted, plagued his future selections and confused his
reasoning...He was directing his flight to fly east of the florida ...even
though he was undoubtedly east of Florida." Taylor's mother and aunt
refused to accept this finding, the Navy set up new review of the report. In
August this panel announced it may only agree with the initial conclusion.
Furious, the two girls employed an attorney and secured a hearing the following
October. On November nineteen the Board for Correction of military service
Records backward the original finding and officially ordered the disaster on
that this place are to "causes or reasons unknown". The Mariner's
fate was believed to be from explosion. The Mariner's had a bad habit of
reproof if even the tiniest of sparks were kindled. There is no particular
disagreement with this truth.
The Avengers
total disappear would be owing to the
rough seas at the time and that they were accepted to be incredibly serious. They known through the Navy as "Iron
birds" they weighed fourteen,000 pounds empty. After impact they would of
at once ruined to the bottom; any junk remaining would of been enclosed up by
the violent ocean at that point, leaving no trace of themselves to be found
anyplace by anyone.
The mistakes
and misguided information regarding the sailor and Flight 19's disappearance
presently began in the early 50's. the great stories is rise about "a
place wherever ships, planes and everything is disappeared" and a
"limbo of the lost" that caught the people interest in the legend story
of the Bermuda Triangle began and remains carried on to the present day.
Taylor is saying in his radio transmissions that
"everything is wrong in the strange ...the ocean doesn't look as it
should" and "They see like they are in space – and they do not come
back when ME." He in fact ne'er expressed those words. Leads us some
seriously silly stories about alien abduction and motherships hovering on top
of the Triangle. It is also usually reported that on the day of Flight 19's
disappearance from the seas were calm and smooth. They were indeed the terribly
opposite!!
In 1991 a
newspaper report ran of a salvage ship named "Deep See" finding
impact that remains of Flight 19 on the ocean bottom 10 miles northeast of
city. One plane bore the number twenty eight, the same as Taylor's aircraft.
But on June four graham Hawkes, who had headed the search, concede that further
investigation had proven that the craft were not from Flight nineteen. The
numbers on the other planes were completely different from those on the unreal
flight. The Avengers were an older model than the one on Flight nineteen.
There are in
reality several many stories of strange disappearances of each ships and planes
either somewhere close to or within the Bermuda Triangle - the actual fact is
that 1/2 the time they're not even within the rough triangle dimensions, and
are quite a great distance is from us however somehow get their disappearance
connected with the Triangle, so way the Triangle should have some quite
mysterious ocean powers to permit it to travel everywhere the planet and suck
down all kinds of vessels everywhere the place.
The reality
is that accidents happen, for one reason or another, planes crash, boats
sink....just look at the large, The research of Vincent H.Gaddis, has dispelled
a lot of the untruths concerning the place. After looking out endlessly through
newspaper , weather reports and other official documents,A great scientist
Kusche found that the Bermuda Triangle
had no a lot of disappearances than the other section of the globe. He has a
book and book name called "The Bermuda Triangle Mystery - solved . You can
scan a lot of concerning the stories and the way they were twisted and adjusted
to suit the parable and mystery additional.
On 4th of
April, 1975 Lloyd's of London issued a statement of a magazine is said that "there are lot of ships and people are reported missing throughout the globe since
1954" they continued and said that there was no proof that suspect that
the Bermuda Triangle was swallowing a lot of ships than the other section of
the earth.
